This new registration will override any previous direct deposit information that you have on file with C R A. Once you register through B M O Online and Mobile Banking, all future C R A payments will be deposited into your B M O account. Note that Business Banking clients cannot register through Mobile Banking.
To find out if you’re already set up for direct deposit with C R A you just need to log in to your C R A account from the CRA website. We recommend registering through B M O Online or Mobile Banking because you’ll get confirmation of your registration and can be sure that all future C R A payments are deposited into your B M O account. Note that Business Banking clients cannot register through Mobile Banking.
The CRA usually takes 1-2 days to process direct deposit enrolments. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the CRA might take longer than usual to process your registration.
